Charles E. Vander Linden has been practicing law in Massachusetts since 1976. His practice covers a wide range of areas in general civil practice. He represents a number of clients in litigation, which includes personal injury claims and litigation involving real estate, employment, business matters, insurance disputes, discrimination and other civil claims.

He represents individuals and families on issues related to disabilities, including administrative and judicial proceedings regarding appropriate special education services. Mr. Vander Linden also works with a number of small businesses and is involved in providing advice on an ongoing basis regarding business, employment and real estate matters. In addition, he represents a number of condominium associations and is involved in both the corporate operation of those associations and in litigation regarding the enforcement of lien rights and other matters.

Mr. Vander Linden graduated, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1976. Following graduation he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Reuben Goodman on the Massachusetts Appeals Court. His memberships include the American Bar Association, American Association of Justice, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

He is also a member of the Attorney's Committee of the Massachusetts Community Associations Institute. Mr. Vander Linden has served on a number of town boards and committees in Groton, Massachusetts, where he resides. He was appointed by the Board of Selectmen to serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals and he served as a member of that Board for 15 years. He also served as chairperson of the Board for three years. In 1984 he was elected to serve as a Trustee of the Groton Conservation Trust. He continues to serve as a Trustee and has previously served as President and Vice President.

Mr. Vander Linden has also served on the Groton Public Library Space Needs Committee and on the Groton Dunstable Regional School District Building Committee. At the present time, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts and as a member of the Access to Justice Section Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
