The firm represents clients in a broad range of transactions involving the purchase and sale of real estate and in obtaining permits and approvals for the use and development of real estate. Our work includes protecting the interests of either the buyer or seller in the purchase or sale of residential or commercial property. In addition, we work with clients in obtaining appropriate permits and approvals from local and state permitting authorities for particular uses of the real property or for the subdivision and sale of the property. In some instances, the firm represents cities and towns in the permitting process related to variances, special permits and other land use matters.

  • Drafting of easements, homeowner association documents and boundary line agreements
  • Creation of nominee trusts, limited liability companies, corporations and other entities on behalf of clients involved in real estate transactions

Real estate transactions are unique and require careful attention and expertise in order to achieve the goals of the client. The firm works closely with each client to ensure that the transactions are structured to enable the clients to achieve their goals. In addition, we focus on providing the clients with advice and guidance that enables them to have a full understanding of the risks related to their transactions and of the manner in which they can attempt to manage and minimize the risks. Partners in the firm have worked with real estate related issues for more than twenty-five years and approach each transaction with a view toward solving problems and protecting the clients' interests in an efficient and
prompt manner.
